Appeal for information on 2007 murder in Ballydesmond
Crimestoppers is appealing for information in relation to the murder of David Brett on 21 May 2007 at Foilogohig, Ballydesmond, Co Cork.

Mr Brett’s body was discovered by a passer-by just after 10pm on 21 May 2007. As part of the ongoing investigation, the weapon used to murder Mr Brett was recovered. This weapon has been forensically examined and important evidence has been obtained in relation to its use in the murder of David Brett. Gardaí are of the opinion there are a number of people, who have information into what occurred on the night that Mr Brett was murdered who have not yet come forward and are now appealing to these people to call Crimestoppers. Even the smallest piece of information, which may seem insignificant, might help with the investigation. Anybody with information can call Crimestoppers on 1800 25 00 25.
